Dr. Gustav Weder's professional experience as well as his training can be summarized as follows:

Since 2006, he has worked as a subject matter expert and executive in the field of organizational development, leadership development and executive talent management in large global corporations. His area of expertise is organizational and management development (sustainable leadership, strategic succession management for success-critical functions, management development, performance appraisal and compensation systems, executive talent management). The goal of this engagement is the consistent development and expansion of an organization's sense of purpose and competitiveness.

From 1998 to 2006, Dr. Gustav Weder worked as a management consultant in the field of leadership and organizational development for national and international companies. During these years, he gained work experience that sharpened his perception of the important things in everyday business. This formed his professional foundation in leadership development and organizational development and he got to know companies from different industries (technology, telecommunications, retail, pharmaceuticals and financial services).

Between 1998 and 2002 he obtained a doctorate in the discipline of political and social sciences at the University of Göttingen in Germany (Dr. disc. pol. - doctor disciplinarum politicarum). Topic of the dissertation: "Optimal action - using the example of high speed: An empirical approach to the psychological regulation of optimal action based on the action spaces of sports and aviation". Unfortunately, he was not able to continue his academic work at a university. This is an important reason for his current distance to Swiss institutions.

Between 1995 and 1997, Dr. Gustav Weder completed studies in economics and (sports) psychology (M.A.) at the University of Ottawa in Canada. To finance this education, he conducted numerous motivation and leadership seminars at Swiss companies and universities, in which he made "top sports know-how" transferable. These were topics such as: "Being good when it counts" or "Leading yourself effectively under high pressure"; "Putting together a strong team and leading it successfully"; "Leading an organization successfully in an international, technologically driven competition and achieving top performance on a sustainable basis".

In 1995 and 1996, he ran the a small business that produced bobsled sports equipment. He sold both his knowledge and the large stock of materials from his active sports days to national and international customers during this phase.

From 1985 to 1994 he managed a bobsleigh racing team according to the principles of a small business, with which he was able to celebrate a large number of successes (several times Olympic Champion, World Champion, European Champion, World Cup Overall Winner, etc.).

Between 1984 and 1991 he was a teacher of sports and general education at vocational and cantonal schools in Eastern Switzerland.

From 1981 to 1985 he completed a degree in exercise science (M.Sc.) at the ETH in Zurich.

On August 2, 1961, he was born in Diepoldsau in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley in Switzerland and completed his compulsory schooling there. He attended secondary and cantonal school in Heerbrugg (science high school/Matura C).
